Winter with Unibail-Rodamco Event 2016 is Here! Trainers, We got a snapshot of a banner at a retail center in Leipzig, Germany, from a reader today. The retail center is owned by the Unibail-Rodamco real estate firm, which also owns the mall thanks by this   Niantic’s official Pokémon GO partner in Europe. We are attempting to confirm this information with Niantic and Reddit. This is not yet verified, so temper your expectations. You can keep up with our efforts on the Siph Road subreddit. This page will be updated when new information becomes available. Update #3: The new ad displays a Pokémon GO event at the mall on February 18th, but removes the "Silver and Gold" language. Cancel your hype trainers; these individuals were just looking for free promotion. Update #2: Shopping Mall removes Gen 2 posters, likely in response to a request from Niantic's marketing department. It's unclear if the information was wrong or leaked ahead of time.

Johto Holiday Event in December 2016 Pokemon Go's last event of 2016 ran December 12, 2016 through December 29, 2016. The Johto Holiday Update included numerous new Pokémon, including Pikachu donning a festive hat. Trainers may capture the festive Pikachu in the same way they would any other Pokémon. Niantic has announced that Pikachu with the festive hat will have a greater frequency rate than regular Pikachu. The limited-edition Pikachu was available from December 12 until December 29 at 11 a.m. PT. When you develop a Pikachu with the hat, the Raichu retains the hat.   Where to Find Santa Hat Pikachu The other new Johto Pokemon do not have an event end date, however unlike Pikachu, they cannot be caught. Thanksgiving Event Guide in 2016

Niantic has confirmed that a new Pokémon GO event would go live on November 23rd, at precisely 00:00 UTC time, only a few days after our first 0.47.1 data mining. Except from two unique mechanics, the event features no special mechanics. Double XP gain Double Stardust gain The Thanksgiving Event Guide in 2016  was the second big in-game event for Pokémon Go is slated for Thanksgiving in the United States, from November 23 to November 30, during which time users will get double the standard XP and Stardust for in-game activities. The second event is a little more limited than the first, which provided candy bonuses and higher encounter rates for certain Pokémon, but it's still a nice boost for existing players (and Niantic is probably hoping for some lapsed ones as well). The new event isn't officially tied to Thanksgiving, but the Pokémon Go team did call it a "Celebration to Say Thank You" in a blog post announcing the news, so the link is obvious

I came across this odd photograph while scrolling through my Twitter account last night shared by Masashi Kawashima of Niantic Labs. There Appear Some Lapras  and i guess it's was a Lapras Event in 2016 I told a few acquaintances about it and chalked it up to really good luck. I was scrolling through my page when I saw a post from Pokémon GO Japan.   Twitter post We verified that the frequency of encounters with Lapras has grown around the coasts of Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima prefectures. It seems that it will continue till November 23rd. It's time to go where you can enjoy the Tohoku district! We feel that there are many more wonderful things to discover besides Pokémon GO.
