Roggenrola is a rock-like Pokémon with a roughly spherical shape. It has a blue body with big, smooth facets. It features a hexagonal, golden hole in the middle of its body, which leads to a hexagonal orifice that serves as an ear. Roggenrola has a brown, rocky rectangle on top of its head and similar brown pebbles as foot.
Roggenrola is a deep-sea creature that was found around a century ago in an earthquake crack in a layer of exposed rock. Its steel-hard body is constructed of dirt from many millennia ago, and it compares in hardness to Geodude and Carbink; nevertheless, a sufficiently extended bath in water will soften its body to some extent. Roggenrola's body is somewhat warm to the touch due to an energy core within it. Its ear connects directly to its energy core, leading it to grow enraged if someone puts their hand in there.
