Pokémon GO Safari Zone Tainan 2018 Event

Image
Pokémon GO Safari Zone Tainan 2018 Event is Here! Even though the weather is becoming cooler, Pokémon trainers continue to congregate outside to capture a ton of beautiful tiny fighting animals. Pokémon Go Safari Zone is coming to Tainan next month, giving Taiwan-based gamers the opportunity to complete their Pokédex. Taiwan's Tainan will be transformed into a pokémon trainer's playground from Thursday, November 1 to Monday, November 5 as recently revealed on the official blog of development company Niantic. Like previous Safari Zone events, this one will include a central center where people may congregate and capture Pokemon together. This time, the venue will be the Chimel Museum and Tainan Metropolitan Park. It's fair to expect that this event will be as well-attended as previous ones, which drew thousands of attendees. Players may anticipate seeing rarer Pokémon in addition to the usual assortment that can be found in Taiwan's oldest metropolis. Anci...

Legendary Week 2018 Event

Image
If you see a Legendary Egg appear in Pokémon GO right now, you have no idea what's inside. We're in the midst of Legendary Week, which means Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza are all spawning at the same time, allowing players like myself to catch up on Legendaries they may have missed when they didn't feel like venturing out in the snow. It will stop tomorrow, when we will only have Rayquaza spawn until March 15th. And, although we don't know when it will happen, approximately 1 PM PST is never a bad bet.   Legendary Week 2018 Event is Here! I can't say I'll be sorry to see it disappear since it doesn't seem like a well-executed event overall. On the most basic level, it suffers from the same issue that the game had when all three Legendary Birds were accessible at the same time: no one turns up for Raids. It's difficult enough to gather people for most Legendary Raids, but it's much more difficult when they don't know whether they'll ...

Pokémon GO Fest 2018 Event

Image
The 2017 Pokémon Go Fest may safely be labeled a failure. The first outdoor tournament was beset by connection troubles, bad weather, unhappy fans, and a lot of nothing - and it was all live streamed around the world. Niantic had clearly learned a lesson. The Pokémon Go Fest this year demonstrated that the developer has not only worked hard to improve the game in the previous year, but has also learned a lot about putting on an event. Pokémon Go Fest 2018 has issues, but it was a lot more fun than any of us survivors from last year expected. The Pokémon Go Fest Chicago was the game's first live event. On Saturday, July 22, 2017, it occurred. Despite the fact that tickets were almost instantly sold out and the event faced significant hurdles, Niantic and the Pokémon community came together in the end for a Legendary night in Chicago.
