Winter with Unibail-Rodamco Event 2016 is Here!

Trainers, We got a snapshot of a banner at a retail center in Leipzig, Germany, from a reader today. The retail center is owned by the Unibail-Rodamco real estate firm, which also owns the mall thanks by this Niantic’s official Pokémon GO partner in Europe. We are attempting to confirm this information with Niantic and Reddit. This is not yet verified, so temper your expectations. You can keep up with our efforts on the Siph Road subreddit. This page will be updated when new information becomes available. Update #3: The new ad displays a Pokémon GO event at the mall on February 18th, but removes the "Silver and Gold" language. Cancel your hype trainers; these individuals were just looking for free promotion. Update #2: Shopping Mall removes Gen 2 posters, likely in response to a request from Niantic's marketing department. It's unclear if the information was wrong or leaked ahead of time.   Update: two of GO Hub readers from Germany are on the way to the mall in question. Winter with Unibail-Rodamco Catching Pokémon in Europe this winter has just become a bit simpler! With our first European partner, Unibail-Rodamco, we'll be introducing new PokéStops and Gyms throughout 58 retail and tourist centers in 10 European nations beginning February 18.   Each destination center will have between 10 and 15 additional PokéStops and Gyms added to public areas, social hubs, and public art. Trainers will not only be able to stay warm throughout the chilly winter months by playing Pokémon GO, but they will also be able to add a fun, social, and dynamic element to their shopping experience. We acknowledge and value their leadership in creating distinctive and creative social centers that provide a welcoming environment and a feeling of community. As a result, Unibail-Rodamco, Europe's biggest listed commercial property business, is an especially appropriate partner for Pokémon GO. To commemorate this collaboration, Unibail-Rodamco will hold Pokémon GO activities in 20 sites around Europe on February 18th. These events will involve a contest to discover Pokémon near each place, lures that will be active throughout the day at each location, and other activities. You don't want to miss out on this! With the return of the Water Festival in Pokémon Go, be ready to take advantage of the summertime. The second Water Festival event has a lot of Water-type Pokémon to catch as well as a number of welcome trainer rewards, despite arriving a little later than it did last year. Biology Medicham is a humanoid, bipedal Pokémon that resembles a yoga practitioner. It has a gray body with red and yellow adornments. A red headpiece with three bulb-like extensions covers the upper portion of its head: one on top and one on either side. The bulb on top is short on a female Medicham. Its large, focused eyes are slightly covered by the headpiece, and its red lips seem to be in a rounded or puckered position. Its legs appear to be covered with puffy, red pants that have a large yellow spot on the knees and yellow bands next to the hips. As Mega Medicham, its headpiece now resembles a white turban with a yellow stone in the center. The red extension in the back is retained, and there are five white extensions on the turban, three extending from the stone and one on either side of its head.
