Biology

Emolga is a white, rodent-like Pokémon that looks like a flying squirrel. It has dark eyes, a little snout, and yellow electric sacs on the sides of its cheeks. Its ears, which are located at the top of its head, are rounded and black in color, with yellow and white portions on the inside. It has a black patterning around its head that resembles a hood, with a spiky extension of the pattern over its face. It has three-fingered arms with yellow winglike membrane flaps. It has white feet that are quite tiny, and a jagged black tail. Emolga dwells in trees, sometimes in Pikipek-made holes, and glides from tree to tree using its flaps. It creates energy in its cheek electric sacs, stores it in its membrane, and discharges it when gliding. Emolga performs this to frighten away bird Pokémon, allowing it to collect a large amount of food. It then uses electric shocks to grill its meal, which might be berries or insect Pokémon. Emolga has difficulty flying due to its habit of stuffing its cheeks with food. While Emolga is adorable, she is prone to causing mischief.
