Valentine's Day 2019 Event

The Valentine's Day 2019 event in Pokemon GO has begun and will go through February 21. Many players may remark that this event is identical to last year's, however the inclusion of Field Research concentrating on the Pokemon spawning during this event is a huge change.

Valentine's Day 2019 Event is Here!

pokemon-go-valentines-day-event-2019 Pink Pokemon spawns have risen as part of the festival, thus Pokemon GO players may find more Clefairy, Hoppip, Lunatone (its eye is pink), Slowpoke, Lickitung, Exeggcute, Snubbull, Whismur, Skitty, Jigglypuff, and Luvdisc. The last Pokemon is also strongly featured in the next event research missions, so players should keep a watch out for Luvdisc in particular. It's worth noting that just three jobs have been introduced as part of this Pokemon GO event, but the prizes from each activity make the efforts worthwhile. One of them is the inclusion of a new Heart Spinda shape, as seen below. The following are the Pokemon GO Valentine's Day 2019 Field Research Tasks: Research Task (Reward)
  • Catch 20 Luvdisc (Chansey)
  • Catch a Chansey (3 Rare Candies)
  • Make 5 Great Curveball Throws in a Row (Heart Spinda)
If nothing else, the Heart Spinda alone will entice Pokémon GO completionists to participate in this event, since there is no knowing when the special form may reappear. It also seems probable that some gamers may be attempting to add a Chansey to their collection or stock up on Pokemon sweets. In addition to these new Field Research objectives, Pokemon GO users must still complete the February Field Research chores, giving busy gamers even more to accomplish. With Swinub Community Day approaching, it's evident that Pokémon GO gamers have a lot on their plates. These continual occurrences and changes, on the other hand, contribute much for the game's quality of life, which is likely one of the reasons the game is so popular. This will hopefully continue if Pokemon Go's popularity continues into 2019. Pokemon GO is currently available on Android and iOS devices in some countries. UPDATE 3 (February 13): Trainers, shiny Smoochum and Cleffa are now obtainable from Egg Hatches. UPDATE 2 (February 13): Three new Valentine’s Day event quests are now live:
  • Catch 20 Luvdisc – encounter Chansey
  • Make 5 Great Curve Throws in a row – encounter new Heart Spinda form
  • Catch a Chansey – reward 3x Rare Candy
UPDATE 1 (February 13): Pokemon Go’s Valentine’s Day event is now officially confirmed. Stardust PokemonGo Twitter account has been right again. Here are the details:

  • Some pink Pokemon will be Raid Bosses

Finally, we anticipate seeing a gleaming Spinda. Previous Story: Trainers, rumors have begun to circulate that Niantic is planning to introduce a new, limited-time Valentine's Day event this month - from February 13 to February 21 - containing new bonuses and shiny Pokemon. Please have in mind that this is just a tease and a hint, 0% confirmed and 0% a leak! The suspicions are growing when a "leak" for this year's Valentine's Day event was shared on the popular Twitter account Stardust PokemonGo. Now, this channel is notorious for "leaks," and it has always been correct. They revealed the December Community Day event, the Shiny Zigzagoon, the Shiny Groudon, the Water Festival event, the Eggstravaganza event, the Adventure Week event, and other events. Here's what he had to say this time. Valentine’s Day event

This account has previously proved to be correct, however until an official statement is made, please take this with a grain of salt. This month, we can anticipate a new Valentine's Day event, new shiny Pokemon, the introduction of Mime Jr. and Happiney as part of the event, and more fun perks. "Roses are red, violets are blue, and catching a Mime Jr., Hoppip, or Luvdisc earns you x2 Candy." https://pokemongocentral.one/valentines-day-2019-event/?feed_id=218017&_unique_id=641cec5fbcea1
