Biology


Shiinotic is a big mushroom-shaped Pokémon. It has a stalk-like slender white body and a huge purple mushroom cap on its head. It has black eyes and a thick, black lips with light green half-circle patterns on the outer edges. Its long, thin arms break into three pale green filaments that function as fingers. A fluffy pink material covers the bottom half of its body and its stubby feet. Its head's mushroom cap features a fluffy pink rim, light green bumps on top, and a pale green, gilled underside.

This Pokémon vies for territory with Parasect; their bouts often leave the region covered in spores. Shiinotic is depicted in the anime lighting the spot and gills on its mushroom. This odd light may cause individuals to get disoriented when they encounter its environment. Furthermore, the flashing spore it emits might induce sleepiness. It preys on sleeping prey by absorbing their vitality through the ends of its arms. It may also use the same approach to provide energy to weaker Shiinotic.
