Later this month, Pokemon Go will bring its well-liked live Safari Zone event to Brazil.

This morning, Pokemon Go revealed that the first Safari Zone event of 2019 will take place on January 25 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. The game regularly hosts similar live events in various nations, offering users the opportunity to connect and catch uncommon Pokémon they wouldn't normally be able to discover in their neighborhood.

Pokemon including Psyduck, Unown, and Relicanth—a regionally specific Pokemon not often seen in South America—will be present during the event, which will take place along the freshly restored Guaiba riverside. Also, there will be unique picture opportunities, an exclusive in-app badge, and 2 KM eggs carrying unique Pokémon throughout the event. Moreover, according to the promotional picture, the event would also incorporate the Dragon-type Pokemon Bagon and the starters Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup from Sinnoh.

For players who can't attend, Pokemon Go will also raise the spawn rates of numerous Pokémon spotted during the event throughout Brazil. Moreover, Psyduck spawns will multiply globally, raising the possibility that a Shiny Psyduck may appear as a consequence of the event.

As this is Pokemon Go's first Safari Zone in South America, it is likely that the number of live events will increase in the next year. Niantic has put together a number of great live events that can be enjoyed by both casual and devoted gamers after a rocky start to 2017.

A Pokémon Go Safari Zone seems to be coming to Brazil this month, making South America the first continent where one of these well-known events will take place.

The Safari Zones in Pokémon Go are occasions when a large number of players congregate in one place to capture wild Pokemon together. Even though they take place in certain places, players from all around the globe may participate.

This time, the Safari Zone will be located in Porto Alegre, Brazil, along the Guaba River. Visitors who want to go for the event may be sure that they will have the opportunity to take in the urban surroundings and the city's extensive history.

A variety of wild Pokemon, including as the water/rock type Relicanth, the eerie generation 2 psychic type Unown, and the traditional water type Psyduck, will congregate in the Guaba region during the event. But there will be more Psyduck available overseas all weekend for those who can't make it to Porto Alegre.

Guaba will host the Brazilian Safari Zone from January 25 to January 27, 2019.

There are free but few available event tickets that may be picked up.

For iOS and Android, Pokémon Go is now accessible. Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!, the most recent entries in the long-running series, may also be played in combination with the well-known smartphone app. All of which are available for purchase on Amazon.

Tickets for the event are free, but are limited. Players can register for a ticket from this website.
