Biology
Ferroseed is a cave-dwelling Pokémon that looks like a durian. It protects itself with a ring of green thorns around its body. It features a metallic body covered in black stripes and polygonal dots, as well as little yellow eyes with black pupils.
Ferroseed like mossy caverns to live in. It can penetrate cave walls with its spikes to take minerals from the rocks. When confronted, it may fire a volley of spikes, allowing it to escape by rolling away. Ferroseed's aim while throwing spikes will be poor at first and will need practice to improve. Ferroseed can take nutrients from rocks and utilize them to generate moss for oxygen, as shown in the anime; various rocks produce different varieties of moss with varying benefits. Notably, by devouring moss, its spikes may become large and robust. Absorbing nutrients from Chargestone Cave rocks has devastating consequences.
