Pokémon GO is kicking off its one-year anniversary celebration with a Solstice Week 2017: This is a fire and ice-themed "Solstice Event," which begins tomorrow, June 13 at 1 PM PDT. The event boosts the spawn rate of both Fire-type and Ice-type Pokémon and provides discounts on Lucky Eggs, as well as XP bonuses for precise Pokéball tosses and some sort of blanket XP benefit for other activities. With summer quickly approaching in the Northern Hemisphere and winter approaching in the Southern Hemisphere, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the upcoming solstices than with a Fire-type and Ice-type Pokémon GO event. From 1:00 P.M. PDT on June 13 to 1:00 P.M. PDT on June 20, 2017, Trainers around the world will discover more Charmander, Cyndaquil, Growlithe, Houndour, Ponyta, Swinub, Vulpix, and their Evolutions. You’ll also want to keep an eye out for Sneasel, Magmar, Cloyster, and other Fire types and Ice types!
Overall, it's not a really harrowing occurrence. I typically like events that change up spawn rates, but there isn't much else going on here. I enjoy how it seems to drive you to aim for precise Pokéball tosses in a manner that the game doesn't previously, adding a little of excitement to the actual capture experience. aren't a lot of incentives available to make this one of the more valued events, which is strange given that it's designed to launch the game into high gear.

According to the Pokemon Go team, Charmander, Cyndaquil, Growlithe, Houndour, Ponyta, Swinub, Vulpix, Sneasel, Magmar, and Cloyster will all appear more often during the event, as will their evolutions. The word cyborg refers to the fact that a cyborg is a kind of cyborg that may be used to make a cyborg. Capturing a Pokemon, as well as Good, Great, and Excellent throws, Curveballs, and catches on First Throws, will earn three times the normal amount of XP.

- Catch Charizard or Charmander or Charmeleon to develop into Charizard and finish your Gen 1 Pokédex
- To complete your Gen 1 Pokédex, capture Lapras.
- Catch Typhlosion or Cyndaquil or Quilava to develop into Typhlosion and finish your Gen 2 Pokédex.
- To complete your Gen 2 Pokédex, capture Houndoom or Houndour and develop into Houndoom.
- Capture and develop as many Fire kinds as you need to get gold in the Kindler medal and a 1.3x boost on all future fire types.
- Capture and develop as many Ice-types as you need to gain gold in the Skier medal and a 1.3x boost on any subsequent fire kinds.
- Collect Sneasel and Swinhub sweets to develop Weavile and Mamoswine in Gen 4.
- Finally, and most importantly, go out there, enjoy yourself, bring your family and friends, and HAVE FUN!
