Rattata #019

Biology

Rattata is a tiny quadrupedal rodent. It has purple fur with cream fur on its face, paws, and underbelly. It features small eyes with white sclera and pupils and red irises, round ears with cream-colored interiors, and a single whisker on each cheek. The end of its lengthy tail is firmly coiled. Its most distinguishing trait is its huge teeth. Its teeth, like those of other rodents, develop continually during its life and must be worn down by chewing. Female Rattatas have shorter whiskers and lighter hair than males. Rattata can dwell wherever it can find food, which it does for the most of the day. It can munch on almost anything because to its strong teeth. Rattata can unleash a devastating bite when threatened. Prior to Generation IV, its hallmark moves were Hyper Fang and Super Fang. Rattata keep their ears up all the time and will flee at the least sound. Rattata's natural predator is the Furret. Its resilience allows it to survive in a variety of habitats, albeit it prefers plains and savannas. A couple of Rattata may swiftly conquer an area because to their rapid reproduction. Rattata are non-native to Alola and were brought in on cargo ships. Alola's Rattata population was thriving until Yungoos were introduced as a control mechanism. Rattata changed its behaviour to evade these new predators. It became nocturnal, relocated to more urban areas, and built enormous nests commanded by Raticate. [1] Alolan Rattata uses scent to find new food and ignores damaged food. It has even been seen sneaking inside people's houses in search of food. It features grayish-purple ear insides and dark gray fur. Each ear and on the tip of its tail have two tufts of hair. Its long, thin whiskers are replaced by shorter, thicker fur tufts. The transition from its cream underbelly to its gray fur is jagged rather than smooth. This Rattata variation is the shortest Dark-type.
