The January 2023 Community Day Classic will begin at 2 p.m. local time on January 21 and will go until 5 p.m. local time. This allows trainers all around the globe plenty of time to participate in the event at their leisure.
Larvitar – the event's highlight pocket monster — is a dual-type creature with the abilities Rock and Ground. It was first introduced in Generation II. The physical attributes of the bipedal creature are said to be inspired by ancient dinosaurs. Trainers in Pokemon GO may evolve Larvitar into Pupitar by using 25 Larvitar Candy.
Pupitar is noticeably different from its previous incarnation. According to Bulbapedia, Pupitar derives its traits from a pupa that connects the larval stage of Larvitar and the adult stage of Tyranitar. With the aid of 100 Larvitar Candy, Pupitar may be further changed into Tyranitar.
Tyranitar is a well-known character in the Pokemon world. It is a member of an elite pseudo-legendary group that enthusiasts are well aware of. This group consists of strong Pokemon with a three-stage evolution family and a base state of 600. Tyranitar delivers a powerful punch and is an excellent complement to any trainer's squad.
Players who develop a Pupitar during the Community Day Classic event or up to two hours later will get a Tyranitar capable of performing the move Smack Down (Trainer Battle 12 power, Gyms and raids 16 power). This assault is also included in the Larvitar Community Day Classic. Fast Attack Smack Down and Charged Attack Stone Edge are the finest moves to have on your Tyranitar.
The Larvitar Community Day Classic Special Research narrative will be available by paying the necessary ticket in-game. Lucky trainers will also have a better chance of seeing the highlighted creature's shiny variation in the wild. The event perks, apart from the highlighted assault, are as follows:

Remember trading away all of your excess Pokémon instead of just transferring them gets you an extra Candy. The more room cleared out, the much less transferring that has to be finished on the spot in the course of the occasion. Axew that appear under these circumstances may have the same probability of showing as a Shiny Pokémon as those who appear throughout June Community Day’s three-hour occasion period. You'll be able to and should add them as a batch as evolutions need to current at the identical time. If you’ve played all throughout the year and have all these Pokémon, your fundamental targets should be Machop, Roselia, and Gible, as their evolutions (Machamp, Roserade, and Garchomp) are all very highly effective.
