Oshawott Community Day in September 19, 2021

The next Pokemon Go Community Day in September 2021 features the Unova-region starter Oshawott, and if Trainers are lucky, they might even be able to get a Shiny Oshawott!

Community Days are once-a-month activities that highlight a single Pokemon. Along with increased spawn rates, there are Special Research missions, perks such as double XP, and uncommon moves to be unlocked. Niantic has revealed that the Unova Pokemon, Oshawott, will be the September Community Day highlight! This will undoubtedly be a popular event for Trainers worldwide. As with previous community day events, there will be event-exclusive moves for Samurott when you develop Dewott (Oshawott's evolution) during the event or up to 2 hours after the event has ended. oshawott-community-day-pokemon-go-september-2021-goda Here's all you need to know to be ready for the Community Day in September 2021.   Oshawott will be the Community Day headliner in September 2021.

September Community Day Oshawott exclusive moves

When you develop any Dewott during the event and for up to two hours after it finishes, its evolution Samurott will learn the event-exclusive move Hydro Cannon, which is a fantastic Charged Move to have. Samurott will also be able to learn a new Charged Move: Razor Shell during and after the event. It will be interesting to see whether this maneuver is as good as (or better than) Hydro Cannon. Pokemon Go's second Community Day is slated for Sunday, September 19, according to developer Niantic. Oshawott, the Water starter from Pokemon Black and White, will be the featured Pokemon this time, and there will be a few more in-game benefits to take advantage of throughout the event. Oshawott will emerge in the wild considerably more often than normal during Community Day, making this an excellent time to stock up on Oshawott Candy. During the event, you'll also get an opportunity to meet Shiny Oshawott, and Niantic will give a paid Special Research tale based on the starter called From Scalchops to Seamitars.

Samurott, Oshawott's ultimate form, will be able to learn a few new moves as well. If you develop a Dewott into a Samurott within two hours of the Community Day ending, it will know the Water-type Charged Attack Hydro Cannon. Furthermore, Samurott will be able to learn the Charged Attack Razor Shell even after September's Community Day has ended. Finally, Niantic will provide a few in-game benefits as well as a unique item package for September's Community Day. Any Incense or Lure Modules you use during the event will last three hours, and you will gain three times the regular amount of XP for capturing Pokemon. Meanwhile, the item bundle will be available for purchase in Pokemon Go's in-game store for 1,280 PokeCoins and will feature the following:
  • 50 Ultra Balls
  • 5 Lucky Eggs
  • 5 Rainy Lure Modules
  • 1 Elite Fast TM
The September Community Day takes place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time. More information on the event may be found on the official Pokemon Go blog. Meanwhile, the Ultra Unlock Part 3 event in Pokemon Go has just started. This promotion lasts through September 1 and adds a few Pokemon from Sword and Shield to the game, including Wooloo, Skwovet, Falinks, and the Legendary cover monsters Zacian and Zamazenta.

Can Oshawott be Shiny in Pokemon Go?

The good news is that Shiny Oshawott may now be found in Pokemon Go! This uncommon variant of the Unova starter makes its debut on this Community Day, so now is an excellent chance to locate one.   Finding a Shiny Pokemon is completely random and might take a long time. You just must face as many of them as possible. Rainy Lure Modules and Incense may assist with this.

September Community Day bonuses

There will be several bonuses available during the September Oshawott Community Day, some of which you can see below:

  • Incense will last for three hours during the event.
  • Lure Modules will last for three hours during the event.
  • Players can earn triple Catch XP during the event.
  • There will be increased Spawns during the event.
