Biology
Dialga is a dark-blue, sauropod-like Pokémon with gray metallic highlights and light blue stripes. On its thorax is a chest plate with a deep blue diamond-like crystal implanted in the middle. Dialga features a fin-like structure on its back, three spines on the back of its neck, and a dinosaur-like crest on its head. It also has two structures on the sides of its skull that look like horns and teeth. It possesses three claws on each foot that are metallic in appearance, similar to its breast plate. It has little fissures all throughout its body. As shown in Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky, the fin-like structure on its back may be utilized to concentrate the flow of time.
Said to represent the Pokémon's real form, Dialga's Origin Forme is considerably different from the regular sauropod-like appearance of its other Forme, being a mix between it, a dragon and a centaur, while also resembling its creator, Arceus. Dialga's rear legs turn unguligrade, with pointy points instead of feet. The front legs are notably bigger, and the underside has three distinct rhomb-shaped claws. Dialga's knees feature rectangular, long, and thin protrusions further up. The breast plate has vanished, but a similar polygonal form has taken its place. Dialga's neck has a massive protrusion in the front, as well as two pairs of protrusions on each side, the top pair bigger and resembling panels or wings. Inside its huge form and wing-like protrusions are deep blue diamond-like crystals, implanted into diamond-shaped grooves. The three spines on the rear of the neck are longer and more pointed. Dialga's head contains two thin arrow-shaped horns that extend towards the top and rear of its head, as well as longer fang-like horns that are attached to a plate mask that covers its bottom jaw and may move in angle to show the mouth. The plate mask also partially conceals the arrow-shaped horns on the sides of the creatures. Dialga's midsection is adorned with a cross made up of four arrow forms connected to a miniature wheel, evocative of Arceus' cross-wheel. Dialga's rear fin-like plate contains a star-shaped layer on top of it. The tail is significantly shorter and fashioned like a crystal. Dialga's whole body becomes bigger and almost totally dark blue. The pale blue crown, arrow-shaped horns, knee protrusions, and abdominal cross contrast with the dark gray tips of Dialga's fin-like plate and foot. Dialga's transition into its Origin Forme is initiated by a radiant light; the Adamant Crystal may also be used to activate it.
Dialga has time-bending abilities: it can speed up, slow down, or halt time entirely; it can also travel through time to see the past, present, and future. It also has the ability to both destroy and construct time. Dialga's temporal abilities in the anime include the capacity to degenerate anything or anyone against their will, including Pokémon, people, and plants. It may even reverse the consequences of devolution. Time is claimed to have begun when Dialga was born and will continue to flow as long as Dialga's heart beats. Dialga may even hurl meteors and shockwaves in its Origin Forme. When Dialga utilizes its abilities, the crystals and light blue accents on her body sparkle brilliantly.
Dialga has the ability to construct a new world on her alone or in collaboration with Palkia. Dialga's behavior is virtually hard to observe since it largely exists in a separate dimension. Time is claimed to be continually shifting in various directions and speeds in the realm where Origin Forme Dialga resides. [1] It has been demonstrated to be fiercely protective of its environment. It also had violent clashes with its rival Palkia.
Dialga was worshiped as a god in Sinnoh mythologies; in the past, it was worshipped by the Diamond Clan, who referred to it as "almighty Sinnoh". Dialga is capable of communicating via telepathy, as shown by its communication with Adaman, the chief of the Diamond Clan. Dialga and Palkia can control and propagate Giratina's space-time distortions, which generate alpha Pokémon and force Noble Pokémon to go mad.
Dialga is the only Pokémon known to be capable of learning the move Roar of Time. When Dialga has enough strength, he may utilize Roar of Time to disrupt time itself. The move may also be charged into a more powerful form when the Pokémon is in its Origin Forme, as shown in the boss fight in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
