Pokemon love to party
To commemorate the debut of the Daily Bonus update, which is presently being rolled out globally, Pokémon Go is dishing out.... even more goodies. From now until November 11, players will encounter more Pokémon and obtain a bigger amount of things while spinning Pokéstops. "Yes, this means more Great Balls, and for Trainers level 20 and above, more Ultra Balls," Niantic noted on its blog. In Pokémon Go, the daily reward system gives players bonus XP and Stardust for capturing Pokémon and passing Pokéstops once each calendar day. Gamers may receive additional incentives for long periods of participation. Although Niantic continues to add features to the game, its most recent announcements seem to be aimed at re-engaging gamers. The game's Halloween event increased the prevalence of specific Pokémon, while the Daily Bonus system now seeks to assist more casual players grow at a respectable pace.

In spite of the fact that Go has lost millions of players since its release in July, its player base is still large and its revenue not suffering a great deal. According to Apptopia, when the game lost nearly 20 million users, its revenue only dropped around 2% in that time. It is suspected that hardcore players making many many purchases, and not, more casual players, are where bulk of the app's money still comes from.

What's next for Pokémon Go? Hints point toward the introduction of another 100 Pokémon, and hopefully the new tracking system will be be distributed at some point soon.

Until then, players will have to make do with the other assorted features Niantic has added to the game over the past couple of months.

My thoughs About The Daily Bonus Celebration Event

If you captured a Pokémon in Pokémon GO yesterday or today, you may have noticed something strange. There is now a "first catch of the day" benefit tied to the first creature you capture in a particular day, and you may have noticed an abundance of things falling from the first Pokéstop you spin. It's not some strange randomness: it's the new daily bonus system, even though the game doesn't do a great job of explaining what's going on. So, in Pokémon GO, here's how the daily, "first capture," and "first Pokéstop" bonuses work. Essentially, catching the first Pokémon of the day earns you an additional 500 XP and 600 Stardust. If you accomplish this for seven days in a row, you will get a "streak," which will provide you 2,000 XP and 2,400 Stardust. It's unclear if Lucky Eggs effect this, but we'll find out in a few days. The first Pokéstop you visit on any given day grants you 500 XP and a slew of new goods. If you complete the seven-day streak, you will get 2,000 XP as well as other goodies. You may have also noticed that there are a lot more Pokémon, well, everywhere. In honor of the daily incentives, Niantic has increased the spawn rate of every Pokémon. The impact lasts from November 7 until November 11. I caught three Grimers on a stroll earlier today, bringing me one step closer to completing my Pokédex with a missing Muk. Niantic has lately been generous with limited-time events, which seems to have benefited both the gaming community and the cash it generates. As a game becomes more thrilling, everyone enjoys it. Daily incentives are an effective strategy for player retention since they help integrate a game into someone's daily routine, something Pokémon GO is already quite excellent at (though not nearly as well now that you can't play it while commuting). It's a modest measure, like all the other minor things we've gained thus far, that is steadily helping to make this a more rounded game. Will anything larger be available soon? Maybe a nearby tracker? Let's hope so. https://pokemongocentral.one/daily-bonus-celebration-event-2016/?feed_id=38055&_unique_id=63f1a98b3f4b3
