Piplup Community Day in January 19, 2020

Piplup Community Day is Here!

Pokemon Go's first Community Day of 2020 is slated for Sunday, January 19, and we now know which Pokemon will be available. Piplup, the Water-type penguin from Diamond and Pearl, will be the featured Pokemon for January's Community Day, according to Niantic. Pokém Throughout the festival, Piplup will emerge in the wild much more often than usual, making this an excellent time to stock up on Piplup Candy. You'll also get your first opportunity in Pokemon Go to capture a Shiny Piplup, and the Pokemon will learn an unique event-exclusive move if you develop it into its ultimate form, Empoleon, up to two hours after the Community Day finishes. Although the event move for this month has yet to be released, prior beginning Pokemon were able to learn Hydro Cannon during their corresponding Community Days.
Aside from increased Piplup spawning, there will be a few extra perks available during January's Community Day. Any Lure Modules you employ during the event will be active for three hours instead of the regular 30 minutes. Pokemon eggs will also hatch in half the time they typically do. More information on January's Community Day may be found on the official Pokemon website. The January Community Day, like previous ones, will last three hours, although it will take place at various times depending on which hemisphere you reside in. The event will take place from 11 AM to 2 PM local time for participants in the Northern Hemisphere, and from 3-6 PM local time for those in the Southern Hemisphere. Piplup Community Day
The first Pokémon GO Community Day of 2020 will feature Piplup and will be held on January 19. It will also have a 1/4 Egg hatch distance, three-hour Lures, and a distinctive Empoleon move. Shiny Piplup, Shiny Prinplup, and Shiny Empoleon will also make their first appearances in Pokémon GO. The following are the event timings for January Community Day:
  • Northern Hemisphere—Sunday, January 19, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in your local time zone
  • Southern Hemisphere—Sunday, January 19, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in your local time zone
Please keep in mind that nations positioned on the equator line will be influenced by the hemispheric divide.   Meanwhile, Pokemon Go's Hatchathon event will continue through January 16. Heatran, the Legendary Pokemon, has also returned to Raids for a short period, and there are new Field Research tasks. More Pokemon Go news may be found below. Because of the game's trend, fans have known for a long time that Piplup would be the January Community Day Pokémon. Every alternate month, the beginning Pokémon have had Community Days. Since Turtwig was the September animal and Chimchar was the November critter, Piplup becoming the January critter was only natural. What happens after Piplup is less certain. If you had asked Pokémon GO early in the year, you would have anticipated Gible to receive the limelight. Popular Pokémon from each generation, especially starters and famous Dragon-types, are favored on Community Day. Gible was a foregone conclusion under that reasoning. Shiny Gible, on the other hand, had a quiet debut in early December. Because Community Day is usually the premiere of a Pokémon's shiny form, Gible's shiny being released early seems to negate its Community Day possibilities.   Puplup_Community_day_2020 Riolu is also in the air. Its evolution, Lucario, is one of the most well-known Pokémon ever. Again, Niantic's recent maneuvers would imply it as a Community Day option. On second thinking, it's one of the game's rarest Pokémon, hatching solely from eggs. It presents a compelling argument for investing actual money on Incubators in order to hatch more eggs. Would Niantic forego its cash cow (uh... dog?) in exchange for a free event? Piplup might be the final fourth generation Community Day. Players of Pokémon GO will find out in February. Until then, prepare to walk on January 19, regardless of the weather. Those lovely blue penguins need a new home.
