Unbreon #197

Biology

Umbreon is a mammalian Pokémon with a sleek, black body, four thin legs, and red eyes. When its mouth is open, it possesses two pairs of pointed teeth (one set in each jaw). It features large, pointed ears and a bushy tail, both of which are surrounded by a yellow ring. It has golden bands on its face and legs.

Umbreon evolved as a consequence of Eevee's exposure to moonlight, which disrupted its genetic structure. When Umbreon is aroused, such as when it jumps to attack, or when exposed to the moon's aura, its golden rings sparkle, infusing Umbreon with a strange energy. Umbreon hunts at night and hence has well-developed eyes that can detect prey even in complete darkness. Its black hair allows it to blend into the darkness while waiting for the best opportunity to pounce. When it does, its rings flash dimly but menacingly, and it rushes for the prey's neck before devouring it. Umbreon protects itself by spraying deadly perspiration generated from its pores into the offender's eyes when enraged or upset.

This Pokémon is uncommon in the wild, preferring to be found in cities under the care of other Trainers.

How to find and catch Pokemon Umbreon?

The Umbreon Pokémon may only be acquired by evolving the previously dubbed Tamao Pokémon. Umbreon may also be obtained using the Buddy Pokemon function. To achieve this, you must make Eevee your pet and walk 10 kilometers with him. Then, as is customary, turn this Eevee off at night.

The Pokemon Umbreon is one of the numerous monsters that may be captured in Pokemon Go. See the prerequisites for evolving an Eevee into an Umbreon here. Umbreon is a Johto second generation Pokémon that was introduced in the February 16, 2017 update.

Evolution

Now that the Johto Pokemon have been discovered, Eevee may develop into Umbreon. When you evolve Eevee, the evolution is random, but there is a one-time method you may do to secure an Umbrean evolution. Before you develop, name the Eevee you wish to become "Tamao."

  • Evolves into: None

  • Evolves from: Eevee

  • Hatches from: None

Aside from the naming trick, becoming an Umbreon requires a bit more effort than other eeveelutions. To get Umbreon, you must first complete the following steps:

  • As your Buddy, the Eevee must have travelled 10 kilometers and acquired two pieces of candy.

  • During evolution, the Eevee must be designated as your current Buddy.

  • Evolving such an Eevee at night will result in Umbreon.

  • Evolving such an Eevee during the day will result in Espeon
