Muk #089

Biology

Muk is a giant amorphous Pokémon composed of living purple sludge. It has two little black pupils in its eyes. It also has a massive mouth with a gray tongue and oozing threads connecting its top and bottom jaws. It has two arms and three fingers on each hand, but no apparent legs. However, it usually maintains one hand tucked in while extending the other.

Muk is a living biohazard, releasing chemicals that harm every plant life it comes into contact with. Even if it is near to plants, it will cause them to wilt and perish. Avoiding any touch with this Pokémon is very dangerous, since an inadvertent brush up may result in serious illness. This Pokémon's impact may devastate the countryside for three years. It will happily swallow almost any garbage or rubbish made by humans or Pokémon alike. Muk's body emits a strong stench that might induce fainting. Despite the dangers of Muk's stink, some admirers of Muk feel it is a positive thing.

Muk may be found in severely polluted bodies of water, industry, and cities, where groups might congregate to devour rubbish thrown into the streets. However, because to recent environmental improvements and eradication attempts, Muk's population has dropped. This has prompted some to worry that it will go extinct at some time; sludge ponds are being constructed to avoid this.

Alolan Muk features a more bright color scheme, with green, pink, and yellow stripes separated by narrow blue bars. The green, yellow, and pink stripes might migrate downwards, but the blue remains still. It possesses white, crystalline poison shards projecting from numerous regions of its body, particularly its lips and fingers, giving the appearance of claws and fangs. It has blue eyes and a brilliant blue tongue with a black gap behind them. Its vibrant hue is caused by the waste it consumes, which produces chemical changes in its body. Its body is filled with about a hundred distinct types of toxins.

Alolan Muk is very peaceful and welcoming. If it is not fed rubbish for a long, its hunger will drive it to ruin its Trainer's furniture in search of sustenance. It is believed that it cannot sustain its energy without a regular supply of poisons, which accounts for its insatiable hunger. Because of the concentrated poisons stored inside them, the crystals covering its body have a propensity to break off, making it incredibly tough to deal with. Alolan Muk, unlike Kantonian Muk, does not emit a terrible odour since its poisons are kept inside its body. Alolan Muk hunts Trubbish and Garbodor.
