How to find and catch Magnemite's Pokémon?

Pokémon Magnemite can be found in universities, museums, libraries, and large shopping malls. Magnemite is most commonly found in places with electricity, such as industrial areas and train stations.

Magnemite does not appear very frequently on the map. Many players raised it from an egg or caught it during a competition.

Biology

Magnemite is a robotic Pokémon with a gray, spherical metal body, blue-and-red tipped horseshoe magnets on each side, and a single, huge eye. It has three Phillips head screws on its body: two towards the bottom and one on top of its head that resembles an antenna. The two bottom screws have no obvious use, however they might represent its feet, given the Pokédex recognizes a footprint similar to the screw's head. Despite the fact that Magnemite and its advanced versions are mechanical organisms, the anime has shown that they have feelings and a means of reproduction. It has even shown a desire to eat, despite the fact that its primary source of nutrition is electrical currents. It is typically found in places with a high magnetic field, such as power plants or caverns. Magnemite has been represented in sculptures uncovered in the Ruins of Alph, despite its contemporary, artificial look. It has also been mentioned in AZ's account of the Kalos conflict, showing that it has been there for at least 3,000 years.

Magnemite's magnetic components produce an electromagnetic field, allowing it to defy gravity and possibly destroy electrical equipment. Magnemite are not known to be too hostile, although they may approach Trainers without warning. On rare circumstances, a wild Magnemite may just escape if confronted, since Magnemite dislikes contact. If it is assaulted, it will respond with non-damaging moves. It might be a dedicated combatant under the hands of a Trainer. It has been shown, however, that it may be repelled until a deep link is made with its Trainer. Magnemite will fall to the earth if its power supply fails. Batteries can usually assist recharge it so that Magnemite can start moving again.

Magnemite is drawn to anything that emits electricity or a magnetic field, even devices like a Pokétch.

It has even been known to be drawn to electric Pokémon that generate similar fields. Magnemite attacks on power plants have increased as modern electrical lines have been buried underground. To avoid power outages, these power plants send out signals Magnemite can't stand in order to scare them away.
