Kingra #230

Biology

Kingdra is a giant, aquatic Pokémon with a tightly coiled tail, reminiscent to a seahorse. Except for its yellow, compact belly scales, it is entirely coated in blue scales. It has delicate spines on its head with a single branch and thin, white fins beneath its cheeks. Its extremely slender snout allows it to unleash squirts of water jets with lethal strength. Fins with two prongs protrude slightly beyond its cheeks. A white fin on its back is supported by delicate, blue spines identical to those on its head.

A sleeping Kingdra's yawn is strong enough to generate undercurrents capable of killing tiny ships. Kingdra's might may cause massive whirlpools and sea-born tornadoes on the surface if it decides to emerge from the depths of the ocean. Because of its enormous strength, Kingdra often hibernates deep in deserted sections of the sea to relax and replenish its energy reserves. When a storm approaches, Kingdra is reported to arise and roam the landscape in quest of prey. When Kingdra and Dragonite meet, they are known to have ferocious conflicts. Because of the shine it generates, the scales shed by Kingdra are presented as presents to royals.

One of the many captureable monsters in Pokemon Go is the Pokemon Kingdra. See the requirements for evolving a Seadra into a Kingdra here. Kingdra is from Johto's second generation and was added in the February 16, 2017 update.
