Heracross #214

Heracross is a bipedal coleopteran insectoid with a blue exoskeleton. It has a long, pronged horn on its brow. Males' horns terminate in a cross, while females' horns end in a heart shape. A short antenna with a spherical tip may be seen on each side of the horn. Heracross has golden eyes that are round in shape. It has a pair of spikes at the wrists on its forearms and a single spike on each of its thighs. It has two claws on each of its hands and a single lengthy claw on each of its feet. In the 3D games, there is a single set of wings covered by elytra that may be seen after its release from a Poké Ball. Heracross' claws let it to burrow into the ground for firm foothold and climb trees. It tosses opponents or competes for food with its horn. It has the ability to lift and hurl items 100 times its own weight. It searches for food using its two antennas. It is found in boreal, temperate, and tropical woods and feeds on tree sap. Megahorn was Generation II's trademark move. As shown in the anime, Heracross has been known to compete for food with Pokémon such as Pinsir. In the same episode, Heracross lets Butterfree graze on tree sap after Heracross has completed its meal. It has also been seen sucking sap from Grass-type Pokémon such as Bulbasaur. Heracross gets along better with Pinsir in Alola since they both have rivalry with Vikavolt. Mega Heracross is larger than its predecessor. Its head, hands, and shoulders are now adorned with thin orange markings. There is also a half-circle orange mark above its eyes. It now features a long, pointed snout with a little upward curvature. Its back is now totally yellow and devoid of wings. Its horn has developed into a huge, basic spike with two smaller spikes on the front. The antennas have also grown in length and now have ovoid tips. Mega Heracross' forearms have become thicker and have lost their spines. Because this Pokémon's body temperature is high, it opens the shells of its limbs and chest to enable heat to escape. [1] Mega Heracross is so powerful that it can raise items up to 500 times its own weight between its horns. However, after resuming to its former shape, it suffers from muscle pain.
