Adventure Week returns to Pokémon Go for 2019, bringing with it a slew of new benefits from June 4 at 4 p.m. ET to June 11 at 4 p.m. ET.

2019 Pokémon GO Adventure Week

The event will include a variety of cool incentives, including the following:

  • An increased spawn for rock-type Pokémon

  • Quadruple candy from buddy Pokémon

  • 10 times the XP from spinning unvisited Pokéstops

  • A bonus of 50,000 Stardust and 15 Rare Candies for trainers who walk over 50 kilometers on Adventure Sync


Update: Due to issues with Adventure Sync, Niantic is giving players a second week to walk 50 kilometers for the above rewards. The second week’s rewards will be doled out to players who walk 50 kilometers before June 17 at 9 a.m. local time.


Shiny Onix, Lileep, and Anorith will join their evolutions Steelix, Cradily, and Armaldo. It should be noted that if you happen to find any of the developed forms in the wild, they will not be Shiny. Shiny Pokémon can only be captured in their early stages. You'll need to level up a Shiny Onix to get that golden Steelix.

This event is an excellent opportunity to conclude the Let's Go, Meltan Special Research if you haven't previously, since step eight demands collecting certain fossil Pokémon that may be difficult to locate otherwise.
