Pokémon Day 2017 Event

Pokémon Day 2017: Monday, February 27 will undoubtedly go down in history as a watershed event. Indeed, my friends, it's Pokémon Day. Pikachu is now old enough to drink since the original Pokémon games were released in Japan on this day in 1996. To commemorate this milestone, Nintendo is hosting a number of activities, both within and outside of video games. Here's what you can anticipate on Pokémon Day, the most significant day of the year.If you're still playing Pokémon GO, Nintendo and Niantic are introducing a special Pikachu to the game to go along with all of the new Generation 2 Pokémon that were released last week. From February 26 to March 6, gamers may catch a unique Pikachu dressed in "a festive party hat." Keep a look out for the Pikachu who will retain the hat long after the event has over. Unfortunately, it is arguably the finest in-game event. Anybody playing the newest chapters in the main series of games, Pokémon Sun and Moon, may visit a physical GameStop shop to get an in-game Bottle Cap that allows them to boost a Pokémon's secret stat value. Additionally, The Pokémon Trading Card Game Online is getting more benefits, while the two-year-old Nintendo 3DS game Pokémon Shuffle is getting a celebration, albeit a Nintendo press release couldn't or wouldn't say what it may be. There will also be additional possibilities to purchase items. A new batch of collectable Gallery Figures, featuring Eevee, Mew, Magikarp, and Pikachu, will be available for purchase on the Pokémon Center website. Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel, a new Pokémon film, will be available on the iTunes Store, Google Play, and Amazon, as will a special bundle of anime episodes following Ash and his friends through the Johto region. There's also a Pikachu Yellow Edition New Nintendo 3DS XL, although it comes out before Pokémon Day, which sounds a little shady. Pokémon Day 2017 event

Pokémon Day 2017 Event is Here!

If you're unimpressed by this lineup of activities — a mediocre offering that makes one wonder whether Nintendo really cares about Pokémon Day — there are two more things to be excited about. Secondly, if you're into PokéSports, Twitch will broadcast some of the top moments from previous video and trading card game tournaments. Second, Pokémon TV, which can be accessed through the website or the app, will host a free marathon of several Pokémon films, including Pokémon: The First Movie. Guys, dang... Remember the first Pokémon film? Do you remember when Ash died? And then Pikachu and all the other Pokémon cry, and he comes back to life? That's some serious stuff. Trainers, Did you know that February 27th is National Pokémon Day? We've joined up with our friends at The Pokémon Company International for their annual celebration of all things Pokémon, and we've got a special gift in store for you on Pokémon Day! On February 26 at 1:00 p.m. PST to March 6 at 1:00 p.m. PST, unique Pikachu will emerge all around the globe sporting colorful party hats to celebrate Pokémon Day. These unique Pikachu will maintain their party hats indefinitely, but they can only be discovered during this limited-time event, so keep a look out for them while you explore! We'd want to know how you're enjoying Pokémon Day. Take images of the unique Pikachu you meet with the Pokémon GO AR Camera and share them with the hashtag #PokemonDay.
