More Infos!

Niantic has now officially verified the news of Generation 3 Pokemon possibly arriving to Pokemon Go shortly, at the same time as presenting its Halloween 2017 event. According to the company, the event will include "a variety of Ghost-type Pokemon initially found in the Hoenn area," including as "Sableye, Banette, and others." [UPDATE: The Pokemon Go Halloween event expires on November 2, so this is your final chance to participate this year.] The event is set to begin on October 20 at noon PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM BST (6 AM AET on October 21 in Australia) and terminate on November 2 at 1 PM PT. According to Niantic, the event will include "an enhanced amount of scary Pokemon like as Gastly, Cubone, Misdreavus, Houndour, and more," as well as "special Pikachu" dressed in a Halloween costume.

Double Candy rewards for capturing, hatching, and transferring Pokemon are among the event's benefits, and you'll be able to get special boxes—"featuring goodies such as Raid Passes and Super Incubators"—from the in-game store. Eventually, you'll be able to equip your avatar with the Mimikyu Disguise Hat. In the clip above, two additional Generation 3 Pokemon, Duskull and Dusclops, can be seen in-game. These are the first Pokemon from Ruby and Sapphire to emerge in Pokemon Go, along with Sableye and Banette. According to Niantic, the remaining monsters from those games will be added to Pokemon Go "gradually as early as December." The inclusion of Gen 3 Pokemon was revealed earlier this week, when a datamine purportedly unearthed noises for every species up to and including #386. (Deoxys, the final Pokemon found in Generation 3). Only days later, another leak revealed additional Gen 3 animals including Pikachu sporting a witch's cap. According to the official release, Pokemon Go will have a Halloween event for the second year in a row. Further information may be found in our compilation of all the games hosting Halloween activities this month. Several events are currently taking place in Pokemon Go. Players may upload the finest AR photographs they capture in-game until October 25 for a chance to win fantastic goodies. By October 31, the Legendary canines Entei, Raikou, and Suicune are also accessible in new territories. In other Pokemon news, Game Freak, the mainline series' creator, has clarified why Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon will not be released on Nintendo Switch.

My Thoughs About Halloween 2017 Event

Pokemon-Halloween-2017-banner-pkmngo   If you're still playing Pokemon Go, you may have noticed the addition of a few new Gen 3 Pokemon: Sableye, Shuppet, Banette, Duskull, and Dusclops. If you haven't played since the release of Gen 2 or the legendary Pokemon, now is an excellent opportunity to return, since the Halloween 2017 event began on Friday.

Halloween 2017 Benefits

This year's Halloween event ran from Oct. 20 at 12 p.m. PST through Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. PST. Besides from the new Pokemon, the event includes several bonuses from prior events, such as double candy and double stardust. The Super Incubators have returned, but they are not free. These can only be obtained as part of the Great Box and the Ultra Box, which cost 780 and 1480 coins, respectively. Raid passes are also available in the boxes.

Further Ghost Pokemon

There will be plenty of your favorite frightening Pokémon roaming about, like Gastly, Cubone, Meowth, and Drowzee, much like last year's Halloween event. Certain Gen 2 Pokémon, including as Houndour, Houndoom, and Misdreavus, will also emerge more often. Pokemon Go now includes new background music, which is a remix of the Lavender Town theme.

New Caps

If the new Gen 3 Pokemon don't pique your interest, maybe you'll be pleased to see that player avatars can now wear a new Mimikyu headgear. To get the cap, just log in to the game. Pikachu is also receiving a new headgear. Pikachu will be wearing a lovely witch's hat throughout the occasion. I realize I'm simply playing Pokemon Go to acquire the new Pikachu. What are your first thoughts on the Halloween event? Would this event be enough to get you to play Pokemon Go again if you haven't done so in a while? https://pokemongocentral.one/halloween-2017-event/?feed_id=60671&_unique_id=63f7b215277f2
